This is an original sketch of the beginning of a figure study. I like this one because it shows the natural process of figure studies passed down to me from Chuck Pyle at the Academy of Art. I start with the head, then use angle to place the hands, to maximize expression, followed by finding the bottom, in this case the feet. It's an incomplete drawing, but unique in the exposure to this process.
